2011 Has To Be The Doggies Year! So Long Jason, Brad, Nathan And Jarrod.

November 22, 2010

Well Footy is finished for another year. Bulldogs lost in the Prelimanary Final to St Kilda and St Kilda lost to Collingwood in the Grand Final. And it took two matches to determine who would win the Grand Final after the first match was a draw. That was unbelievable football. Bulldogs had an injury hit year and that effected the team during the finals series when our key defenders were hit by injury just before an important match.

Jason Akermanis who is playing his final season of football before he retires, has also been rested for the last two matches. Bulldogs lost their NAB cup match to Essendon in the first round to be eliminated. They then lost to the Sydney Swans and the following week beat Melbourne. The final score was Melbourne: 63 lost to Western Bulldogs: 101. The Bulldogs will now play Fremantle in Round 1 of the Premiership Season.

I hope that this will be the Dog’s year and that we will win the premiership this year. We have the players plus speed, quality to pull off a win at the Grand Final. I was so happy when Adam Cooney won the Brownlow Medal last year and to come from nowhere to win it was cool. I will always be a Bulldog fan right up till i die. Go Dogs.
